a little about therapy

Therapy is not only about easing pain. It’s about growth and transformation. It’s the courage to meet yourself honestly, to release what no longer serves you, and to begin living in a way that feels more grounded, connected, and alive.

There are three main components that make therapy work: openness, relationship, and technique.

The first is openness. Real change begins when you choose to show up for yourself with honesty and curiosity. You don’t need to have everything figured out, only a readiness to explore what’s happening within you and a willingness to try new ways of caring for yourself. That courage is what makes this work so meaningful and powerful.

The second is relationship. Healing happens in connection. When there is trust, safety, and authenticity, therapy becomes a place to practice vulnerability, repair, and self-compassion. The relationship itself becomes part of the work. It becomes a space where you can stay with yourself and your experience, even when things feel uncertain or uncomfortable.

The third is technique. The tools we use help guide and support the process. My approach weaves together body-based awareness, mindfulness, and relational work to help you understand your inner world and bring that understanding into daily life.

True healing includes the mind, the body, and the heart. What we often see as symptoms are actually messages from within, calling for care. When we slow down and listen, those messages begin to reveal resilience, understanding, and a deeper sense of balance.

about me

Welcome, I’m Lili.

I believe that at our core, we are all inherently whole. In Buddhist psychology, this is called basic goodness — the understanding that no matter what we’ve been through, there is something wise and intact within us that never disappears. Therapy helps us reconnect with that part of ourselves, especially when life’s challenges or past experiences have made it hard to remember.

In today’s world, it’s easy to lose touch with what’s real. We’re constantly shown who we should be and how our lives should look, often at the expense of how we actually feel. Many of my clients arrive in therapy feeling disconnected — from their bodies, their emotions, or their sense of self. Together, we slow down, make space for what’s underneath the surface, and begin to listen inward.

My work is trauma-informed, which means we move at a pace that feels safe and attuned. We bring gentle awareness to the patterns and protective strategies that once helped you cope but now keep you stuck. Through this process, we begin to integrate what has been held in the body and the nervous system, allowing you to feel more present, grounded, and alive.

Outside of my work, I’m someone who finds joy in simple things: time in nature with my dog, slow mornings with coffee, meaningful conversations, and music that stirs something in the soul. I know firsthand that healing is not linear, and that it takes courage to face yourself with honesty and care. That’s why I hold this work with deep respect — because I believe in the resilience and innate goodness that lives within each of us.

Therapy with me is collaborative and deeply human. It’s a space to process the past, meet yourself with understanding, and create a life that feels connected, meaningful, and true to who you are.
